Terms of Use
Last updated: 2026-07-29
Acceptance of these terms
These terms apply to your use of https://bitplayzone.com ("BitPlayZone", "we", "us"). By opening a page on this site or playing a game on it you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
We may update these terms — for example, if the site starts carrying advertising again. Material changes will be reflected in the "last updated" date at the top of this page.
Who may use the site
BitPlayZone is a general-audience site and the games contain no gambling, no simulated wagering and no adult content. It is not, however, a service directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you are a minor in your country, use the site with your parent's or guardian's permission.
Your licence to play
The games are provided free of charge for personal, non-commercial entertainment. You may play them, link to them, and tell people about them. You may not sell access to them, rehost them on another domain, embed them in another site or app as if they were yours, or redistribute the game code as part of a bundle.
Acceptable use
Please do not:
- attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorised access to the site or its host;
- scrape the site at a scale that degrades it for other people;
- modify the client-side code in order to misrepresent scores as genuine, or to reach parts of the site that are not published;
- use the site in a way that breaks the law where you are.
Scores are stored in your own browser and are not competitive rankings, so changing them only affects you — but automated abuse of the site itself is another matter.
Intellectual property
The BitPlayZone name, logo, page copy, cover artwork and the game implementations served from this domain are ours or licensed to us. Classic arcade concepts — a falling-block puzzle, a brick breaker, a snake — are generic ideas and are used as such; no commercial title is emulated, and no third-party ROM or ripped asset is hosted here.
Third-party components keep their own licences and are credited where they are used. The racing game HexGL is by Thibaut Despoulain under the MIT licence, credited on its game page.
Availability and "as is"
The site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose. Games run on your own device in your own browser, and browsers differ — we cannot guarantee that every game runs perfectly on every device, or that the site is always reachable.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, BitPlayZone is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site, including lost data, lost scores or lost time. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
External links
Some pages link out — to a game's licence, to a source cited in an article, or to our YouTube channel. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
